30/01/2014 - Why is a good reflector important for lighting?
A good reflector contributes to the right atmosphere.
The reflector determines the radiation angle. This is the distribution of the light. The radiation angle is expressed in degrees. Our new ORION is available with a radiation angle of 25° or 40°.
The radiation angle you choose depends on the purpose of your lighting. Do you wish general or functional lighting? Do you need solid lighting, without much contrast between light and dark? For these purposes, a wide radiation angle, f.e. the NOVA FLEX with a 40°reflector, is the best option. This reflector is very well suited for global lighting.
In contrast, do you wish to lighten locally or place accents? With a small radiation angle you can lighten areas exactly without "light pollution" in the rest of the room. A product, a picture, a plant, ... can be highlighted by using a spot with a small radiation angle, f.e. the MIRADO IN with a reflector of 25°.
With a good reflector you save energy.
At Lunoo we make sure our reflectors are made of 99.5% pure aluminium, which results in high efficiency and little loss of light. By the use of a right reflector you get a more efficient distribution of light and therefore lower energy consumption.

"Eco design" is the slogan we kept in mind when designing this projector. The aluminium case and the light source Fortimo SLM 2000, 3000 or 4500 make the ECPLISO a sustainable projector.
The ECPLISO can be used in several lighting applications due to its 20°- and 40°-reflectors.
The ECPLISO has a timeless, neutral and elegant design. White, black and grey are standard colours.

The graceful dimensions and the minimalistic design contribute to the purity and elegance of the NOVA and the ORION, making them perfect for architectural applications.
In order to meet every interior and lighting requirement, both the NOVA (square version) and ORION (round version) are available in 3 models:
• NOVA en ORION - Standard model
• NOVA DEEP en ORION DEEP - Countersunk light source
• NOVA FLEX en ORION FLEX - The tilting and turnable model
The LED modules, Fortimo SLM 1100, 2000, 3000 or 4500, can be combined with a 25° or 40° reflector. The choice of the reflector depends on the type of lighting: general, accent or mood lighting.
All the models are also available with the LED modules LED 1900 MEAT and LED 2750 GOLD.

21/10/2013 - SPY-ON steers a course for perfect colour reproduction
A year ago we introduced the SPY-ON as an architectural spot light that combines design, ecology and technology perfectly.
To date, we have never changed the design but of course technology has moved on especially LED-technology. Originally we had the Fortimo SLM modules that are excellent for fashion and general applications but now we also have specific modules that emphasise the shades of red, yellow or brown.
We like to put all the modules together:
MEAT 1900
An excellent LED module to enhance meat or settings where shades of red are important.
GOLD 2750
This module can be very beneficial to bakeries, furniture stores and products where shades of brown or yellow are strongly present.
FORTIMO SLM 1100 / 2000 / 3000 / 4500 en LED 4000
Are all the colours important? Then these are the best modules to choose from. The colour reproduction of the Fortimo 1100, 2000 and 3000 has improved. They are now available in colour reproduction 930. Furthermore, the range has extended with the Fortimo SLM 4500 and LED 4000.
